Geoffrey Giller: Science Writer and Photographer
I’m a science writer and photographer with a special love for aquatic ecosystems and the critters that inhabit them. (Especially salamanders). Originally from the Connecticut shoreline, I currently live in Ithaca, NY. My work has appeared in The New York Times, Discover, Scientific American, Smithsonian Magazine, Audubon Magazine, bioGraphic, Hakai Magazine, and the Yale Alumni Magazine, among other outlets. I have also received fellowships from the National Association of Science Writers, the Society of Environmental Journalists, the International Reporting Project, and The Open Notebook.
