Geoffrey Giller: Science Writer and Photographer
I’m a science writer and photographer with a special love for aquatic ecosystems and the critters that inhabit them. (Especially salamanders). Originally from the Connecticut shoreline, I currently live in Ithaca, NY. My work has appeared in Discover, Scientific American, Smithsonian Magazine, Audubon Magazine, bioGraphic, Hakai Magazine, and the Yale Alumni Magazine, among other outlets. I have also received fellowships from the National Association of Science Writers, the Society of Environmental Journalists, the International Reporting Project, and The Open Notebook.
